La-Z-Boy Reports 3Q Loss

MONROE, MI – La-Z-Boy Inc. announced its operating results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter ended January 27. Net sales for the quarter were down 9.6% to $403.9 million when compared to the same period of 2006. The company posted a per-share loss of $0.15, which included an after-tax $0.28 per-share loss from discontinued operations. For the nine months that ended January 27, net sales were $1.2 billion, a decrease of 2.8% compared with the prior-year period.

Teknion Corp. Announces 2006 4Q and Year-End Results

TORONTO –  Office furniture manufacturer Teknion Corp. announced its results for the fourth quarter of 2006 and the year ended November 30, 2006. Fourth quarter sales for fiscal 2006 were $176.6 million compared to $173.1 for the same period of 2005. For the year, sales were $631.3 million versus $606.2 million in 2005. All geographic regions recorded higher sales in fiscal 2006 compared to fiscal 2005.

International Paper Declares Dividends

MEMPHIS, TN -- International Paper, a manufacturer and distributor of forest products, announced Feb. 13 a regular quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share for the period from Jan. 1, 2007, to March 31, 2007, inclusive on its common stock, according to PRNewswire. This dividend is payable on March 15, 2007, to holders of record at the close of business on Feb. 16, 2007.
