TOCCOA, Ga. -  Osborne Wood Products Inc. has been named a 2020 Globe Award winner by the Georgia Department of Economic Development for its international marketing efforts. The state-led awards program highlights Georgia companies that entered new international markets in the previous year.

The Toccoa, Georgia-based Osborne Wood Products is among 31 companies throughout the state recognized by the GDEcD. Osborne is a manufacturer and supplier of component parts for the furniture, kitchen and bath industries.

“We were glad to be recognized for expanding into new markets which continue to be priorities for our ongoing growth," said Jeremy McClain, marketing director.  "Although Osborne has had to rely on technology recently to facilitate international relationships because of the pandemic, we are fortunate to have been able to also re-tool our international marketing plan. Moving forward, we anticipate designating space on the website specifically for international inquiries, expanding international marketing efforts, and developing an international line,” he added.

Leon Osborne, founder and CEO, also noted that the Globe Award reflected the ongoing expansion of the components manufacturer into international markets.

Osborne Wood Products, Inc. has been supplying high-quality wood products for 40 years. In addition to kitchen island and other table legs, Osborne is a supplier for corbels, inlays, moulding, and other decorative wood components. Osborne also offers custom pieces, kits, metal furniture components, table slides, and hardware.
