Kodiak acquires San Antonio Masonry and Steel

SAN ANTONIO — Kodiak Building Partners, a building materials distribution company, acquired San Antonio Masonry and Steel, a provider of masonry, stone, stucco, and steel products in south Texas.

This is Kodiak’s first construction supply business acquisition since the addition of Barnsco in Dallas, Texas, to its portfolio. The decision to expand in this area of construction supply is driven by strong growth projections for the Texas construction sector and the opportunity to tap into a dynamic market.

Since its founding in 2000, San Antonio Masonry and Steel has grown significantly, now employing more than 150 team members and serving a wide range of residential and commercial builders in the San Antonio metropolitan area.

The acquisition will provide access to Kodiak’s advanced operational technologies, comprehensive training programs, and extensive network of industry connections. This support will help San Antonio Masonry and Steel continue to uphold its high standards of service while exploring new growth opportunities.

Founded in 2011, Kodiak Building Partners is a leading acquisition firm specializing in acquiring and supporting locally owned and operated building materials companies.
