GREEN BAY, WI - Less than six months after breaking ground, KI has completed its $3.3 million furniture plant expansion project in Green Bay, WI. The contract furniture company commemorated the event with a grand-opening ceremony attended by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

KI broke ground on the 100,200-square-foot expansion in February. According to the company, the added space will be used for manufacturing, shipping, receiving and warehousing, and will enable it to reduce costs and streamline efficiencies at the plant. KI produces furniture targeted for the business, government, healthcare and educational markets.

Founded in 1941, the employee-owned KI has sales offices and manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada, as well as Latin America, Europe and Asia.
