MADISON, Ne. - Fourteen employees were taken into custody after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided a Nebraska wood pallet manufacturing plant.

An ICE spokesperson told local news that three men from Guatemala and 11 from Mexico were apprehended while working at D&D Industries. The men were removed after helicopter surveillance determined the company was likely employing illegal immigrants.

The company has not yet issued a comment. The raid removed around half of D&D's employees, as the company reportedly employs around 30.
