MARKHAM, ON -- Flakeboard announced plans to invest $16.5 million at its MDF plant in Sault Ste. Marie in a series of upgrades to improve the mill’s competitiveness. The plans include an energy recovery system, press line upgrades to broaden the range of products and the installation of Flakeboard’s patented resin application technology. The Ontario government awarded a 10% grant to assist the project.
