The former CabinetWorks' Thompsontown, Pennsylvania, plant is being auctioned. More than 2,000 lots are up for bid in the 4-day auction.

The auction will take place from March 18 to March 21, 2025, with bidding beginning to close each day at 9:00 AM Pacific. The auction will include high-performance CNC routers, advanced edge banding machines, and precision saws, among a multitude of other top-tier equipment.

In September 2024, the Cabinetworks Group announced it was closing its Thompsontown assembly plant, and in October the company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the agency that it would officially close the facility at 12393 William Penn Highway in Delaware Township, Juniata County, near Thompsontown. According to the notice, 420 people will be affected. The layoffs began on December 9 and concluded December 21. Cabinetworks Group said it closed its assembly plant as a result of declining multi-family direct sales business.

The company, the country’s largest privately-owned cabinetmaker, ranks #13 on the FDMC300 list of wood products manufacturers.

The auction will take place from March 18 to March 21, 2025, with bidding beginning to close each day at 9:00 a.m. (Pacific; 11 a.m. Eastern).

To participate in the auction, interested buyers can register online at hollandindustrialgroup.com where they will find detailed information on all featured items, as well as bidding instructions. Early registration is encouraged to ensure a smooth bidding experience.
