HANNOVER, GERMANY - Woodworking Network is working with partners from Lignum Consulting in developing 'Industry 4.0' as the overall theme for WMS 2015, the Wood Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo, running November 4-7 at Toronto's International Centre.

Lignum Consulting president Georg Frey (r), based in North Carolina, and Sepp Gmeiner, partner, who heads the Toronto office, operated the first stop on LIGNA 2015's Industry 4.0 Technology Tour in Hannover. Gmeiner shows the concept as it applies to wood industry factory automation.

“We have reset the Conference at WMS to include the concept of Industry 4.0 as it applies to Canada’s wood manufacturing industry,” says Bill Esler, WMS program coordinator.
