The Cabinet Makers Association has announced that their next national conference will be held March 4-6, 2020 in St. Charles, Illinois, near Chicago, at the Q Center.

The CMA’s first-ever national conference, held March 2018, was a rewarding experience for the almost 200 attendees, so the association has decided to continue providing this additional benefit to their members. One participant shared that he was very impressed and inspired with the experience shared during the 2018 event.

“It was nice to meet so many others with the same challenges and ideas to overcome those challenges," that participant said. "And it was great to walk away more motivated than when I arrived.”

Given the year of the event, the theme of the conference will be “2020 Vision: A Clear View of the Woodworking Industry.” The educational sessions will focus on the following three sight lines:
-- Hindsight: Looking in the rearview mirror to see where the members have been.
-- Peripheral Vision: Checking the blind spot to see what’s happening around the industry.
-- Looking Ahead: Shifting gears to accelerate forward.

Once again, local plant tours will be included in the agenda. The CMA plans to visit Exclusive Woodworking and Closet Works/Plus Closets during the 2020 event. See http://www.cabinetmakers.org/2020
