KREAMER, Pa. – Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry celebrated its 75th anniversary by launching its first-ever design contest. More than 560 entries from designers and dealers across North America were submitted. Winners were announced at a reception during Wood-Mode’s 2018 new product showcase, held September 17-18 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
“As part of our 75th-anniversary celebration, we wanted to recognize and highlight the best-of-the-best projects that showcase Wood-Mode at the heart of the design,” said Brooks Gronlund, president and COO of Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry.
Brooks Gronlund, president and COO of Wood-Mode spoke at the ceremony and also introduced the President's Lifestyle Award. The winning project was designed by Tricia Bayer of Belle Kitchens.
Award categories ranged from showroom displays and kitchen and bath projects to unique, innovative spaces highlighting the various customized options offered by Wood-Mode.
“Our primary goal is to recognize the talents of our highly-trained designer partners because much of our success relies on their efforts and those of their award-winning showrooms,” said Jeff Wolfe, Wood-Mode director of marketing.
The winning designs will be featured in a Wood-Mode commemorative picture book.
