Kitchen Cabinet Distributors begins hiring in Houston for its 180,000 sq.ft. distribution center

RALEIGH, N.C. - Kitchen Cabinet Distributors has begun hiring as it opens its first distribution center outside of its Raleigh, North Carolina headquarters.
The 11-year-old cabinet company, headed by Randy Goldstein, CEO, will open its new 180,000 square-foot distribution in Houston’s Greenspoint neighborhood, just north of downtown. The news was first reported by Woodworking Network last month.

"Our new Houston facility will allow us to better serve the state of Texas and other nearby markets,” says Megan Mazur, vice president of sales and marketing.
The distribution facility will feature a showroom for contractors, home improvement dealers and cabinet shops to experience the company’s affordable styles and possibilities. The showroom will host customers seeking kitchen or bathroom inspiration to fit any budget. The facility will be integrated with the company’s recently launched online dealer ordering system. The system provides full transparency to inventory levels and product specifications allowing customers to submit orders anytime and anywhere.
Kitchen Cabinet Distributors says it will be filling more than 50 Houston-based positions this year, with ads posted at http://www.kcdus.com/careers/, including customer service representatives, and warehouse personnel. The company is a member of NKBA and says its cabinets comply with ANSI/KCMA A161.1 standards, and are listed as non-members at the KCMA site under Kitchen Cabinet Designers.
In addition to its status as the most populous city in Texas, Houston offers easy access to customers in some of the nation’s fast-growing housing markets, including Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. More broadly, Houston igives Kitchen Cabinet Distributors access to the Southwestern United States markets.
