Leggett Announces Personnel Changes

CARTHAGE, MO – Rob Woods, president of Leggett & Platt Inc.’s Consumer Products Group, announced that Ron Answorth will rejoin the group as senior vice president of procurement. His duties will include assisting in product development and working with the sales teams to develop programs for specific national accounts. In addition, Stephen Sczubelek has been named senior vice president of merchandising.

For the second consecutive year, the company’s Ampine particleboard manufacturing plant, located in Martell, CA, holds the distinction of the greatest reduction in accident incidence rates among all CPA members for the last three years.

La-Z-Boy Names New Corporate Controller

MONROE, MI – La-Z-Boy Inc. announced that Margaret “Peg” Mueller has been named vice president, corporate controller. Mueller takes the place of Mark Copping, who left the company. In her new capacity, Mueller will be responsible for corporate accounting, accounting consolidations, internal and external financial reporting, payroll and internal compliance, as well as special projects and analysis. She will report to Mike Riccio, CFO.
