Is it possible to vacuum stabilize wood that has already been glued? I'm having some issues with splitting due to humidity changes and I was wondering if stabilizing these balls would solve this problem. Or maybe there's a better way to prevent the splitting? They are painted and sealed and the splitting usually happens months later.
