Triton Tools returns to its Australian roots, expands North American availability through Crimson Tool

ELGIN, Ill. — Crimson Tools is now the exclusive North American distributor for core Triton products. Timbecon, an Australian woodworking company, has acquired the Triton brand, restoring it to Australian ownership. These moves ensure greater availability, reliable parts support, and ongoing product development for Triton in the US and Canada.

Triton returns to its roots
Triton Tools, founded in Australia in 1976, is known for innovation and understanding woodworkers. Melbourne-based Timbecon, with over 35 years of woodworking experience and brands like Sherwood, Torquata, and Melbourne Tool Company, has acquired Triton. The brand is now back under Australian ownership.

"Triton stands on a strong legacy and a clear future," said Hague Haswell, managing director of Timbecon. "We understand woodworkers because we are woodworkers. We'll build on Triton's foundation and keep investing where it matters most."

Crimson Tools appointed North American distributor
Timbecon has appointed Crimson Tools as the authorized distributor for Triton tools and parts in the US and Canada. This partnership ensures a steady supply for existing users and expands dealer access to new Triton products.

"Triton tools are trusted by woodworkers," said a Crimson Tools spokesperson. "We will ensure dealers and customers have the products and parts they need for years to come."
