- Sunbelt Furniture Xpress and Shull Transport say they entered into a definitive agreement to combine  effective April 29th, 2011.

Ed Long, president of Shull Transport, joins the combined company and as VP of corporate development.

Sunbelt says the addition of Shull to its current service area allow it to serve 81 percent of the U.S population directly from our service centers located in Hickory NC, Dallas TX, Jasper IN and Fontana CA. Sunbelt Furniture Xpress with the consolidation of Shull into our operations will now provide 100% direct service to the additional states of MI, WI, NJ, RI, CT, MA and CA.

SunBelt Furniture Xpress Our terminal locations are in Hickory,NC; Martinsville, VA; Jasper, IN; Dallas, TX; and Fontana, CA. SunBelt also has driver domicile locations in Galax, VA, and High Point, NC.

With a total of over 175,000 square feet of specialized furniture consolidation facilities, and 129 loading docks, makes SunBelt Furniture Xpress is the one of the largest new furniture consolidator in North America.

SunBelt says it consolidates and delivers 5,000 to 7,000 pieces of furniture per day from over 350 different furniture manufacturers, including Bassett, Broyhill, Hooker, Vaughan, Thomasville, Lexington, Universal and Century.
