I have a, roughly 20"x 24" live edge slab that I'm wanting to make a 2 sided WAHOO (marble game) out of. I plan to do Shou-sugi-ban on it, sand, and add glaze.
My dilemma is....if I drill the holes prior to glazing, they'll fill with glaze. On the flip side, if I wait and drill after glazing, the marble holes won't have the same appearance as the rest of the board.
