I have not viewed every possible taper jig on the web, but those that I have seen have a work stop, which seems to me limits the length of board that can be tapered. I used to think that I was handy with tools, but I am humbled by my ignorance on how I can use my radial arm saw to taper deck boards that may be ten feet long. My deck abuts a retaining wall, and the retaining wall is not parallel with the rear of the house. I need to taper the pieces of decking that lie between the retaining wall posts.
