MANHEIM, Pa. — Guffey Systems, a manufacturer of productivity solutions for wood finishing, will have a presence in the exhibit hall and the parking lot at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, Oct. 24-25, at Spooky Nook Sports.

In addition to its display at booth #300, Guffey will showcase products in its demo trailer, parked near the entrance of Spooky Nook Sports. The trailer will feature a U-shaped Pivot Line system, plus Guffey Systems accessories and hangers.

“The trailer has proven to be very handy in showing off our equipment for shop visits,” said Nathan Guffey, owner of Guffey Systems. “Our equipment addresses the single worst bottleneck in a shop, so when we're able to demo our equipment onsite, it's rewarding to see the relief on the face of shop owners, managers, and finishers when they realize there's equipment that allows them to finally enjoy the finishing process and greatly increase productivity.”

PivotLine is a manual-rail finishing system that Guffey says can double or even triple a shop’s current throughput. “It rivals the speed of an automated line at a fraction of the cost, space, and implementation time without replacing the skill, art and craftsmanship of the finisher,” the company adds.

The company also offers PivotPoint, a touch-free batch finishing system that is well suited for shops with smaller spray booths or for those that are looking for a lower initial investment. Every component of an initial PivotPoint setup will transition to be used with a PivotLine System when there is a need to upgrade.

At Wood Pro Expo, Guffey Systems will feature a couple of new products, including: 

• Trim Rack Kit, which is equipped with adjustable height brackets and allows for easy accessibility for spraying various types of trim in an upright position. The kit is compatible with PivotPoint and PivotLine. 
• HD Hanger Kit, which consists of a load bar, three different options of hanging brackets which are used based on the hanging method needed, and two lock collars to ensure the brackets can slide when hanging from the bar. The main uses of the HD Hanger kit are for hanging interior doors, shutters, and larger panels. This kit is only recommended for use with PivotLine.
