I am making some pizza peels and find that 7/16" thick is the perfect thickness....not too heavy and can easily slide under a pizza. I'm making it like the common "striped" pattern with strips about 2-3" wide. Problem! I hadn't finished the peel with anything and some rainy weather came in with higher humidity and the peel
started to bend a bit. Traditionally these are simply treated with mineral oil and bees wax. How can I feel most confident these will not warp after making them?
