Filling large gaps between boards
We had a bar constructed with rough sawn pine. We intentionally did not glue the bar top boards together and of course have large gaps between the boards. They have already been screwed into place. The question is how to fill in the cracks/knots when the backs of the boards have not been sealed. This bar is in a barn and I want a rustic look. In other words, I want these joints to show after staining. Epoxy will run out the bottoms. I thought of using CA glue first for a quick set up, then epoxy over the CA glue. Will that work? Other suggestions?
