DENVER, CO — Panel processor Premier EuroCase will soon offer a new product — fully processed laser edgebanded flat panel components, marketed as Elements by Premier.

According to Owner and President Andy Wilzoch, “This will be one of our most ambitious projects since the short cycle melamine press [installed] in 2004.” Premier’s recent purchase of the Homag laserTec laser edgebander — the first wood products manufacturer in North America to do so — opened the door to this new opportunity, as well as upgrades by its sister firm Roücke Inc., which recently expanded its products to include new melamine colors and highly textured deep-grain plates. The company also acquired a Burkle PUR laminating line giving it the capacity to include lamination of piano finish high-gloss acrylic panels.

“Premier EuroCase will be one of the first companies in North America to offer fully processed laser edgebanded flat panel components of the highest quality that is otherwise unavailable currently. We believe that there is demand for components with uncompromised quality from a single supplier,” Wilzoch says.

Premier EuroCase, privately held and established in 1987, has a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and a 115,000-square-foot facility used for assembly and shipping. Roücke, established in 2004, specializes in the production of thermofused melamine and high pressure laminated panels, which it sells to Premier EuroCase and other panel processors.
