20th Design Portfolio: French Country Walnut Wood Armoire

EVANSVILLE, IN — Gauger Woodworking Plus, manufacturer of custom cabinetry and furniture, entered a French country walnut wood armoire in the 20th annual Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio contest. Features include: walnut solid lumber, ¾-inch walnut plywood, leg/corner post constructed and milled out of one piece of wood and clear conversion varnish.

Alan Gauger, owner of Gauger Woodworking Plus, started the company in 2003. He has worked in the woodworking industry for over 25 years and teaches woodworking classes locally. His work includes cabinets, stain and finishing, laminate tops, wainscoting, armoires and mantels.

How to Enter Contest
The Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio Awards are given each year to honor custom woodworkers for their outstanding craftsmanship.

To enter submit photos of your projects that fit into the categories below, visit WoodworkingNetwork.com/designportfolio. All projects entered must have been completed after Jan. 1, 2011, and must have been built for an outside customers. The submission deadline is Nov. 1.

Winners in each category will be featured in a special December digital publication as well as in the January 2013 print issue of Custom Woodworking Business, and will be recognized at the debut of the new Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, held February 27 - March 1, 2013 in Edison, NJ. All contest entrants will receive a $45 credit to attend the conference. Also, entrants will be featured in Woodworking Network’s Facebook album as well as on our web site in slideshows and feature articles.
