Sliding table saws allow woodworkers to rip solid wood relatively easily with cross cuts and angle cuts.

Stiles Machinery recently introduced its latest sliding table saw, the Altendorf F-45 Fusion 3200, which performs all sawing and cutting applications including miter cuts, custom-cutting, ripping, and crosscutting in solid wood, panels, and plastics. It offers unique cutting capabilities for case goods and architectural millwork.

Sliding Table Saw for Complex CutsThe Altendorf F-45 features a programmable, motorized rip fence that Stiles says is capable of delivering accuracy +/- 0.004 in. Its programmable overhead color LCD digital display can store up to 20 cutting programs – for common repeat cuts that’s a time saver.

The main saw unit has programmable motorized raising, lowering and tilting with integrated, automatic blade height compensation.

Stiles says its Altendorf F-45 Fusion 3200 can decrease production times by more than 25 percent. It is a natural progression from a standard table saw if your custom woodworking shop is ready to venture to bigger and more complex and productive projects.

Additional features include:
• A crosscut-miter fence with two manually adjusted flip stops from 6-1/8 in. (155 mm) to 137-3/4 in. (3500 mm), capable of accommodating 0º to 49º miters with the convenience of length compensation.

•Integrated rip fence compensation for bevel cuts.

•RAPIDO shimless scoring system for chip-free cutting – even when the blade is tilted.
