The Environmental Investigation Agency produced this video, "Two Years in the Making: How the Lacey Act is Changing the Global Timber Trade." The Lacey Act was amended last spring, making if a crime for companies to import wood and wood products from illegally logged forests.

The video is a great overview of the issues and aims of the Lacey Act. It's well worth 4 minutes of your time.
