Woodworking Network and the Centre for Advanced Wood Processing at the University of British Columbia thank the speakers, exhibitors and attendees who participated in the 2013 Wood Tech Summit Leadership Conference. The conference, which featured presentations by seven of the best and brightest minds of the Canadian wood products industry, was held Oct. 23 at the Four Points By Sheraton Hotel, the day before the opening of the 2013 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo.
Wood Tech Summit featured table top displays and a networking reception. Each of the speakers shared best practices on topics such as award-winning design, RFID inventory systems, robotic work cells, setting up a factory in China, participating in a wood cluster, achieving corporate excellence in wood manufacturing and more.
