The award was given at the AWFS Fair which was held July 20-23, 2011 in Las Vegas.

Given since 1997, the prestigious Sequoia New Product Awards recognize creativity, innovation and leadership in "green"/environmental product development in the woodworking industry. Entries are evaluated by a panel of industry representatives on quality, production impact, practicality, innovation and user friendliness.
