WALKERTON, ONT - Bluewater Wood Alliance (BWA), a Canadian based non-for-profit cluster organization of wood manufacturers, is set to represent seven Ontario companies at Index 2013, a major trade show in Dubai, UAE.

Upon forming, BWA conducted a study through Wilfrid Laurier University's MBA program on emerging export markets. When Dubai came up as having significant potential, the group represented three Ontario companies at the fall 2012 Big 5 trade show in the providence as a means to garner information on the market. BWA apparently saw the event as a success and continued to pursue Dubai as a viable market for Ontario based wood companies.

The seven BWA companies present at the event will represent the furniture, flooring, high end garage door and children's toy businesses and includes Vokes Furniture and Stock Wooden Toys to name a few.
