OneCollection Showcases Chair Designed For UN At ICFFNEW YORK, NY- Danish furniture manufacturer showed off its Council Chair designed for the UN this past week at this year's International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF).

The Council Chair was built for the UN's newly restored Trusteeship Council Chamber, which was designed by Danish designer Finn Juhl in 1953. Since OneCollection has held the rights to Juhl's mid-century designs since 1999, the company's participation in the UN project was a no-brainer.

"We feel that we have created something beautiful and groundbreaking in tandem with the designers. We hope this can inject new interest into Danish design from an international perspective," said OneCollection owner Hans Henrik Sorensen. "What a shame Finn Juhl himself couldn't experience this."

ICFF took place May 19-21. The festival is designed to showcase a wide range of furniture and home decoration accessories.
