Container Store CEO Tindell Elected Retail Association ChairmanNEW YORK – The Container Store Chairman and CEO Kip Tindell has been elected chairman of the National Retail Federation Board of Directors and chairman of its Executive Committee. The announcement was made during NRF's 104th Annual Convention and EXPO.

Tindell succeeds NRF’s immediate past chairman Stephen I. Sadove, former chairman and CEO of Saks Inc. Joining Tindell and Sadove on the board are HSNI CEO Mindy Grossman, serving another term as vice chairman, and NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay.

 

 

Shay noted the new board will "continue to work with Capitol Hill on policies that directly impact one of the biggest industries in the world, while simultaneously learning more about the constantly-changing retail landscape.”

Also newley elected to the NRF board are members: Marla Beck, co-founder and CEO of Bluemercury Inc.; Gunther Bright, executive vice president, American Express, Merchant Services – U.S.; Pauline Brown, chairman, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton Inc.; Rick J.
