Rugby Architectural Building Products Reaches 30 States  CONCORD, NH - Rugby Architectural Building Products, a national distributor of doors, millwork, hardware and specialty hardwood plywood, has begun carrying Samsung Staron solid-surfaces throughout the Northwest U.S., including Alaska. The shift follows the takeover of Lumber Products last year.

Rugby Architectural Building Products had already been marketing and distributing Staron products to countertop manufacturers, cabinet shops, millwork houses and builders in other U.S. markets for more than 11 years.

Rugby Architectural Building Products has been on an expansion push, supported by Leading Ridge Capital Partners. In June 2012 it acquired assets of Portland, OR-based Lumber Products after it entered bankruptcy. In November it acquired F.W. Honerkamp, a New York City-based distributor of architectural building products founded in 1871.

It also doubled its Dallas architectural products distribution center to 95,000 square feet, and opened a warehouse in Arizona.

Rugby now operates five warehouses and sales offices located in the Northwest region serving Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Boise and Salt Lake.

It now claims 15,000 customers nationally in 30 states, a sales force of 75, 20 Distribution Centers with over 1.2 million square feet of warehouse space, and a logistics fleet of 150 trucks.
