Cameron Automation, a division of James L. Taylor Manufacturing, introduces the Cameron Flooring Nester, an IWF 2012 Challengers Award Entry, which automates the labor intensive job of nesting random length flooring into bundles ready for strapping. The Nester uses laser measuring along with a sorting mechanism to control the quantity of flooring in each bundle offering flooring companies a means to save labor and material, says the company. The Nester features internally complex but user-friendly software.  The Nester eliminates repetitive manual labor, controls the square footage in each bundle and produces more even bundles, while tallying material automatically, says the company.
