REHAU introduces RAUWORKS Acoustic Adjustable Screen for sound management in open office environments, designed to accommodate office environments with open designs. The RAUWORKS acoustic adjustable screen facilitates a combination of sound absorption and partitioning to reduce sound propagation across workstations, which provide privacy but also effectively absorb sound coming from close proximities, says the company. RAUWORKS acoustic adjustable screen is available in three designs – a fixed screen, motorized adjustable lift screen and segmented height-adjustable split screen, to allow for customization of the workstation environment. According to the company the designs provide an assessed sound absorption rate between 0.85 and 0.75 and meet the criterion of up to a B sound absorption class (extremely absorbent) per DIN EN ISO 11654, and all three provide a NRC value range between 0.8 and 0.75 and a SAA value between 0.79 and 0.74 per ASTM C423.
