Laguna’s Platinum Series includes the 20-in. disk sander. This tool line features a 20-in. disk made of 1/2-in.-thick milled aluminum. The sander is precision balanced for smooth, reliable operation, Laguna says. Full use of the disk surface is available from the cast-iron work table, which raises and lowers on a rack-and-pinion system.

The table also tilts in both directions allowing for flexibility in the toughest of sanding operations, the company adds. The reversible motor allows users to work on both sides of the work table.
