The newly formed Candlelight Curated Inc. group has acquired the operating assets of the former Candlelight Cabinetry facility in Lockport.

KELOWNA, B.C. — Norelco Cabinets Ltd., a Kelowna, B.C.-based company has been fined more than $69 thousand for multiple deficiencies  with storage racks in use.WorkSafeBC said it inspected this firm's cabinet manufacturing plant and observed multiple deficiencies with storage racks in use, including damaged and twisted uprights and missing bolts and anchors. The firm failed to ensure storage racks were capable of safely supporting the items stored on them, a repeated violation.

Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM), the largest mutual insurer dedicated to wood-related businesses, announced several executive leadership changes and promotions across the organization.

This announcement builds on British Columbia’s foundational industry that is the third largest exporter of softwood lumber in the world with more than 2,000 facilities, nearly 100,000 direct and indirect jobs, and nearly $13 billion in GDP. The initiative will be led by Gorman Group.
