As LIGNA 2013 drew to an end, show managers celebrated the percent of visitors from outside Germany, though attendance was flat at 90,000. Multi-tasking machinery was prevalent, and evolved versions of LIGNA 2011 breakthroughs permeated many systems on display.

Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) recently installed their 2013 Board of Directors at this year's WIC in Tempe, AZ. Wade Gregory, from Flakeboard America Ltd., has been named President of AWFS.
