Advance Cabinet Systems Launches Furniture DivisionMARION, IN - Advanced Cabinet Systems says it launched Sandhill Furniture, diversifying into production of commercial-grade, ready-to-assemble educational, business, and residential furnishings.

ACS, which makes laminate casework and retail store fixtures in its Marion, IN plant, will build Sandhill there. It wkill be sold online at Sandhill.com, with two to three week dlivery.

The initial line is the Sandhill Collection, which features desks, bookcases, mobile storage carts, and meeting tables. The furniture is constructed using domestically purchased raw materials whenever possible, and all products are 100% manufactured in the U.S. 

“We have so many customers continually ask us if we do residential work," says ACS VP Whitney Bowers Christopher, who leads the new Sandhill Division. "This is our way of saying, 'Yes.'"

Bowers Christopher says Sandhill’s product line comes in multiple finish colors and is competitively priced. Finishes include white, black, Desert Glow, and Sable Glow. Prices at

The office furniture line in the Sandhill Collection is intended for teacher’s classrooms, principal’s offices, work offices, and home offices, says Bowers Christopher.

"We have the same commitment to quality and domestic production with Sandhill that we have in our D12 and retail fixture divisions," she says, calling them great quality products produced by "extremely hard-working Midwesterners with domestically manufactured raw materials wherever possible. This is an incredibly exciting time for ACS, Sandhill, and all the employees.”
