NEW LISKEARD, ON - Three H Furniture Systems is expanding its facility, adding capacity and employees at its office furniture and casegoods manufacturing facility in New Liskeard, ON.

The contract furniture maker told the Northern Ontario Business the estimated $500,000 expansion will increase its 40,000-square-foot shop by approximately 10 percent, and includes $150,000 for new CNC equipment, including a point-to-point boring machine.  The company also plans to add 10 people, bringing the total number of employees to 90.

"What we're seeing is an increasing demand for a lot of the new products we've been offering," President Roy Dittman told the Northern Ontario Business. "Our lead time is starting to creep out. We have to get more out of the building and invest more in our facility."

Three H Furniture exhibited at NeoCon 2015, where it won an Interior Design HiP at NeoCon (Honoring Industry People and Product) award for its Rescape wall tile office program, that includes panels, shelving, storage, worksurfaces and electrical components.  The company has been crafting office furniture for more than 35 years.

Prior to the late 1980s, Three H focused on the mid- to high-end range of European-style residential furniture. It was founded in 1973 by Heinz Dittmann, Helmer Pedersen and Helmut Moeltner.
