Leave it the the Chinese to find a way to put a Lamborghini on the road at a cost of about $3,000.

The catch, of course, is that this Lamborghini is no more a Lamborghini than a Rolex bought on a Beijing street corner is a Rolex.

Still, the bright yellow car made with plywood by Chen Jinmiao, is very cool looking. His replica was patterned after design drawings he downloaded from the Internet. Like the real deal, his Lamborghini has gull-wing doors.

The car  has a top speed of about 55 mph, a tad slower than the real deal being made in Italy.
