At the SICAM 2010 exhibition in Pordenone, Italy, GRASS was pleased with its success from day one. "We anticipated a lot of interest," reported Managing Director Frank Nessler, "but it exceeded our expectations. Not long after the doors to the exhibition had opened our stand was already swarming with visitors. We saw a strong demand particu-larly for Dynapro and Tiomos."

For GRASS this was another successful exhibition in 2010. It comes on the back of successes earlier in the year as the company created much interest with its innovative products at the Eurocucina kitchen exhibition in Milan in April and at the IWF exhibition in Atlanta in August, which focuses on timber processing and furniture. This time, GRASS showcased its latest product developments for the European market.

Responding to customer requirements: new products at SICAM

On show were numerous developments of the company's innovative movement systems with which GRASS responds to the needs and requirements of furniture manufacturers.

For base cabinets, GRASS presented a new product creation of the Nova Pro Crystal double-skin drawer system. This system is now available in two versions, Deluxe and Classic. These units feature side elements made of aluminium, offering customers another individual kitchen design opportunity. "Current trends in kitchen design work with aluminium for many elements. Of course we respond to that", reports Frank Nessler. There were also two new product features for the DWD XP Agantis double-skin drawer system: one was the height adjustment option for the 127 drawer, and the other was the new design in stainless steel.

Particular emphasis was placed on special drawer solutions. With Quaturis S, GRASS presented the first movement system for standard corner-base cabinets at SICAM.

With these product variations, GRASS has again demonstrated the high degree of individuality with which it responds to the wide range of requirements of its customers regarding design and appearance. "Looking back we can say that SICAM has again given us valuable insight into customer requirements so that we can meet these in the future and maintain our position as industry leaders", says Frank Nessler. The valuable new contacts made at the exhibition and the exchanges with existing customers provide GRASS with a positive perspective for the future.
