Trotec Laser Inc. introduces the Speedy 300  flexx, a flatbed laser designed to offer extra speed and flexibility in applications. The Speedy 300 flexx is designed to mark and engrave virtually anything, says the company, including plastics, wood, glass, metal, textiles, foam, stone, acrylics and workpieces with mixed materials, in a single process. The Speedy 300 flexx integrates a CO2 laser and a fiber laser source, adds the company. The Speedy 300 flexx has 5G acceleration and a maximum speed of 140 in/s, says the company, which offers increased productivity for users. It has a 29 in. x 17 in. work area and a maximum workpiece height of 7.8 inches.  Standard with the machine is autofocus with sensors; bi-directional communication; CeramiCore; Ferro-magnetic work table; exhaust unit control; focus lenses; improved dust protection; and InPack technology. Also standard is JobControl; a laser pointer; laser remote app; software autofocus;  and  trolley table. Options include Atmos exhaust systems; cutting table; JobControl Vision software; laser power upgrade; Multi Color Jet; Postscript converter; and a Rotary engraving attachment.
