Is Your Company Good Enough for the WOOD 100?
One Goal: To Be the Best in Business

Last year was tough – there’s no denying it. But many woodworking companies were able to rise to the challenge and grow their business.

Was yours one of them?
If so, share your success story by participating in the 21st annual WOOD 100, to be published in the September issue of Wood & Wood Products. The WOOD 100 ranks and profiles companies based on sales growth, not size, making participation open to all North American secondary wood products companies.

Your company can qualify if:
1. It is primarily a secondary manufacturer of solid wood or composite panel products
2. It has generated sales of at least $150,000 each year since 2007; and
3. It posted greater sales in 2009 than in 2008.

Entry forms for the WOOD 100 are available online at WoodworkingNetwork.com. Just click here and it will take you to the easy-to-use 2010 form. Please answer the questionnaire as accurately and completely as possible, including sales figures to the nearest $1,000.

In a survey taken last summer, almost 50 percent of the WOOD 100 participants had anticipated growth in 2009, while 90 percent said they expect 2010 sales to be OK or better. Lean manufacturing, satisfying green demand and broadening product lines were among the top reasons for improvement.

What’s behind your company’s success? Participate in the WOOD 100 and share your ideas.
