Although home prices have fallen for several consecutive months, we could be near the bottom, according to Robert Shiller, a Yale economics professor and co-founder of the Case-Shiller Home Price Index. "In terms of housing, we might be at the end game," he said in the above interview on CNBC. 

Leading indicators are ticking up, suggesting stabilization in the economy, but Shiller was also quick to note that it was still too soon to tell. "I just don't see any scientific way to be assured what it's going to do," he said.
