3M's Xtract sanding disc product can extract up to 99% of dust generated. As the operator sands, any dust produced is pulled through the net backing, continuously extracting and collecting into the vacuum system.

The company's line of Cubitron II Premium Series abrasives is designed with the exclusive 3M Precision-Shaped Grain (PSG) technology, which the company says provides industry-leading cut rate and prolonged abrasive life for a variety of applications and substrates for woodworking composite sanding and metal fabrication.

3M Precision-Shaped Grain products have 2X faster cut than conventional abrasives, which means up to two times the dust created in the same amount of time.

It is available in three distinct backings to meet a project's application requirements.
