Leitz says its QuattroForm tooling utilizes an innovative, gear-driven tool body system, enabling multiple edgebanding profiles to be machined by a single tool. This increases efficiency and throughput, making mass-customization and short-run productions easily available, the company adds. Select the profile at the machine control and changeover is completed in seconds.  Numerically-controlled servos assure 100% accuracy and repeatability, Leitz adds. The Leitz QuattroForm is part of the Holz-Her MultiTool system for edgebanding.
