The Bosch GKF125CE Colt 1.25 hp (Max) variable-speed palm router is driven by a 7.0 amp motor, and features a depth-adjustment system (with both standard and metric scales). Advanced electronics highlighted by soft-start circuitry work to reduce start-up torque and variable speed (16,000 to 35,000 rpm) for optimal speed selection while the constant response circuitry helps maintain speed. With an ergonomic design, it features a palm-grip configuration and soft-grip housing combined with a base equipped with finger-support pockets for greater stability. The router includes the 360 degree (non-split) Bosch aluminum fixed-base housing, which enables wide bit capacity, accepting bits up to 1-5/16 in. in diameter. The router features a push-button motor removal and LED lighting to provide an enhanced view of the bit and work area. A shaft lock and forged wrench are included for bit changes and a ball-joint cord swivel is included for cord positioning.
