Techno CNC Systems says its new HD II large-format CNC router is designed specifically for small to mid-size production workshops. The HD-II CNC router features a 4-ft x 8-ft process area, 12-HP HSD high frequency automatic tool changer spindle with an 8-position tool rack, 4-zone vacuum table, all steel construction, and easy-to-use hand-held controller.

Atlantic Machinery offers the Vitap Point Grooving machine for manufacturing acoustic/sound absorbing panels, which represents a growing segment of the wood industry. Different blades can be utilized for various grooving patterns as required. Patterns can be designed and downloaded from the office computer and stored in memory or loaded directly onto the machine’s computer by the operator. Grooving is done from below, which greatly improves dust collection and the removal of excess material, the company says.

Ideal for engraving, routing, drilling, cutting, milling and chamfering, the HSR-R Series CNC router from Hendrick Mfg. is a heavy-duty workhorse, It features a single-head moving gantry design and an 8-station rotary automatic tool changer equipped to allow side drilling, side milling, side sawing and more. Robotic solutions provider AutomaTech Robotik offers the Ernest Cabinet Maker. The company says the Industry 4.0-ready system can consistently produce 80 to 150 cabinets per shift with a single operator, and handle any batch size, including batch size = 1, without any interruptions in production. The Ernest Cabinet Maker robot can be linked to CNC equipment, or used to automate existing machines in the production line.

NewCNC offers single- and double-sided edgebanders for every size facility. Model MFB60CY has touch-screen control and includes pre-mill, end trim, rough top and bottom trim, fine top and bottom trim, scraping and buffing units. Minimum panel sizes are 4.73 X 2.75 inches, and it can be used with banding 1/2 in. to 2-1/2 inches tall. The company says it is also perfect for banding 3mm or solid wood edges.

NEXTech says its R200 CNC machining centers can be used for wood, plastic, MDF, plywood and other composite materials. The R200 operates via standard G code allowing all standard CAD/CAM software to be use. It includes a vacuum pump and many configurations and remote technical support are available.
