American Millwork Adds Production Cell for AmeriCase Line

EMMAUS, PA - American Millwork & Cabinetry reports it has completed a $433,000 investment on a casegoods production cell for its successful institutional casegoods product line, AmeriCase, resulting in a 22,000 square foot expansion.

Ten employees have been added at the 51,000 square foot Lehigh Valley, PA, wood products manufacturer, to accommodate the AmeriCase line, president George Reitz told KeystoneEdge, a business website. AmeriCase, launched in 2009 for institutional customers, now accounts for 35 percent of revenues at American Millwork & Cabinetry.

Founded in 2002, American Millwork & Cabinetry moved to its current location in 2006. It manufactures and installs high quality architectural millwork and cabinetry for commercial customers, including local businesses, restaurants and institutions, and retailers like L.L. Bean. Products include custom millwork in popular profiles or custom designed, solid wood cabinets, veneer cabinets, and countertops, including all aspects of architectural millwork. 

LEED accredited and lean-manufacturing based, American Millwork & Cabinetry operating units include the AmeriCase business, and AMC Installers. A photo album shows operations in solid wood machining, caewoork, Americase, panel processing and other departments.  American Millwork & Cabinetry, AMC Installers and AmeriCase are certified by the Quality Certification Program of the Architectural Woodwork Institutefor supply and install of architectural millwork and casework.

Investment at 46-employee American Millwork & Cabinetry was supported by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority and the state's Small Business First program through the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp.
