FastenLink is patent-pending fastening system that replaces wooden dowels needed for adjoining pieces in place.

The pending patent is on the plastic design and the groove that is cut into the tip of the dowel, creating a shoulder that slides into the “ramp” - a tapered groove cut into the wood which guides the FastenLink dowel until it clicks into the locked position, connecting the adjoining pieces into place.

The system replaces cams, screws, or nails for fastening panel, and through its design, brings adjoining pieces tightly together so fasteners are not exposed.

FastenLink is a 2016 IWF Challengers winner. Winners in the Challengers Award were announced August 24, the opening day of IWF 2016 in Atlanta.
