A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he has over thirty years of working experience in engineering, manufacturing and applications related to industrial cutting tools.
Mark Alster has been involved with tooling for the primary and secondary woodworking industries for 25 years. Mark began his career with Michigan Knife/Simonds Industries (Big Rapids, MI) and has been employed with Leitz Tooling Systems since 1995. Mark currently serves as Regional Sales Manager and previously worked closely with many of the industry's largest machine providers. He was instrumental in securing a Sequoia Award (2011) and Challengers Award (2010) for Leitz. Mark has extensive knowledge of the woodworking industry, machinery, applications and current tooling technology.
Scott Burton is acting Technical Sales Manager for Royce//Ayr Cutting Tools. He attended the University of Guelph for Sales and Marketing and began employment with Royce//Ayr in 2002. His many years of experience in the wood working industry has provided the necessary knowledge and training tools required to assist customers with the most difficult machining applications. Scott works closely with an Engineering and Production team at Royce//Ayr that takes tremendous pride in customer service and support.
