Woodturning program for veterans
VetsTurn

VetsTurn is a veteran program led by YouTuber Paul Mayer that works with tool vendors and members of the woodturning community to provide a complete setup of woodturning equipment, along with supplies, training, and ongoing support to selected US Combat Veterans.

The program was started in 2019 and has awarded woodturning systems to eight US veterans in its first two years. The results and feedback from participants have been extremely positive.

In 2021, the VetsTurn plans to award woodturning systems to an additional six veterans, bringing the total membership in the program to fourteen.
